Due to the proximity to Iberia, where our headquarters are located, Marion is home sweet home. This great city was laid out in 1822 and was incorporated un the 1829-1830 Legislature of Ohio. It is difficult to tell if Marion is best known for being the home of Warren G. Harding, our annual popcorn festival, or the Merchant family grave in Marion Cemetery.

The activities in Marion are cemented in history. As the childhood home of Warren G. Harding, the 29th President of the United States, Marion has both the Harding Tomb and the Home of Warren Harding available for our residents and tourists. But do not let that distract you from the annual Popcorn Festival.
